Mumbai: Police arrest eight for killing grocery shop owner

Mumbai, Feb 8: Police arrested eight people for allegedly murdering a grocery shop owner as he did not have the stock of cigarettes they asked for.

The heinous crime occurred in Boisar on Sunday, February 6.

Vinod Singh (55) is the unfortunate victim of this dastardly act. The gang of eight people demanded the brand of cigarettes which they smoke. Vinod did not have stock of the same. They suddenly started beating and kicking him which resulted in his death.

Vinod was declared dead by the doctors. A case in this connection is registered by the Boisar police.
