Bantwal: Devotees Offer Worship to Swami Nithyananda

Bantwal, Jan 8: Thousands of devotees on Thursday January 6 offered ‘puja’ to the deity Nithyananda Swami at Baddakatte, near here, by anointing the idol with milk and tender coconut water as part
of an annual ritual at Nithyananda Swami Bhajan Mandir, Baddakatte.

The Mandir has been developed as Ganeshpuri of Maharashtra where thousands of devotees regardless of caste, creed, age, and gender queued up to offer puja.

The idols of Swami Nithyananda and Swami Govinda were carried in a colourful procession on the night of Wednesday January 4.

Ananda Ashram, Belgaum, veterans J Srinivas Jakribettu, B Mahabala Sapalya, B Harish Shetty, G Anand, Harish, Gopal Poojary, Gajendra Prabhu, Mohan K, Sriyan Rayee, Jagannat Bantwal, and Satyanarayan Bhat were present on the occasion.

    Worship the Creator and not His creations. Only the God is worthy of worship and there is no similarity to Him.
