Daijiworld Media Network - Kadaba (SP)

Kadaba, Mar 15: Madhava Shetty (65), a resident of Perabe village within the limits of Kadaba police station, ended his life by hanging himself inside his farm on Monday March 14.

In a complaint lodged in Kadaba police station, a relative said that Shetty was frustrated by continuing quarrels within the family. Kadaba police have registered a case of unnatural death.

A relative of the deceased and social activist, Umesh Shetty Sairam, alleged that instead of performing the post-mortem in Kadaba community health centre, they were made to travel to Puttur to get it done on the pretext that the health of an employee in Kadaba was not good. He said that all the facilities are available in Kadaba but just because a D group employee was not available, they were made to go to Puttur government hospital. He said that Kadaba community health centre has not been of any help to the locals.
