Bantwal: Police recover Arecanuts stolen by minor boys

Bantwal, Mar 15: The Vitla station police have nabbed four boys for allegedly stealing areca nuts spread in a yard belonging to Mohammed Mustafa at Barebettu, Neerapalike, Kolnadu village.

A police complaint of the theft by unidentified miscreants between March 6 and March 7 was registered in the police station.

Police personnel who conducted investigations found that four minor boys who were involved in a legal conflict had committed the theft.

Vitla police have recovered nearly 3,500 areca nuts and two motorcycles used in the theft.
