Govt launches programme to help in studies of students affected by Covid pandemic

Bengaluru, Mar 18: A novel programme, ‘Kalika Chetarike’ (learning refresher), to help the students whose studies were hampered due to the Covid 19 pandemic was launched by Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh in Bengaluru on Friday.

The programme has been jointly organised by the Department of Public Instruction and Samagra Shikshana Karnataka to help the students to bridge the learning gaps throughout the State.

The minister also released handbooks on basic literacy and statistics.

Primary and Secondary Education Department Principal Secretary Dr S Selvakumar, Department of Public Instruction Commissioner Dr R Vishal, Samagra Shikshana Karnataka State Planning Dirextor M Deepa and Prof Rishikesh of Azim Premji University participated in the programme.
