Mangaluru, Mar 20: As a part of the CSR initiative of the Education & Women Empowerment program - scholarships were distributed to deserving higher secondary and degree college girl students by Malabar Gold & Diamonds in the city.

A total of 83 scholarship cheques were distributed in Belthangady Taluk colleges. Similarly, other outlets in Karnataka will be giving away scholarships at their respective regional level.

Antony, retired principal, First Grade College, Belthangady, Ronald Lobo, franchisee owner, TVS Showroom and Sheikh Kunhi, retired administrative officer, United Co Ltd, were the chief guests.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Mangaluru staff Sarath Chandran, store head,  Karthik Kumar, guest relationship manager, and Sheik Farhan, marketing manager were present.
