Udupi: Ramesh Kanchan offers 1150 kg rice to Uchila Mahalakshmi temple

Udupi, Mar 30: Ramesh Kanchan, president of District Block Congress Udupi, offered 1,150 kg of rice to Sri Mahalakshmi Temple, Uchila on Monday, March 29, as part of its Brahmakalashotsva programme starting from April 1.

He and the block Congress leaders took the blessings of the Goddess and met Nadoja Dr G Shankar, president, Brahma Kalashotsava Committee. Before offering the Horekanike, Ramesh Kanchan offered prayers at Sri Siddhi Vinayaka temple and performed a pooja to him.
