Udupi: Dr Ravindranath Shanubhogue suffers cardiac arrest, recuperating at hospital

Udupi, Apr 1: Renowned fighter of senior citizens’ rights and human rights protection foundation of the district, Dr Ravindranath Shanubhogue suffered heart attack on the night of Thursday, March 31. He is admitted to Manipal KMC hospital.

Shanubhogue complained of chest pain on the night of Thursday. He was immediately rushed to hospital by his family members. Angioplasty procedure is done on Dr Shanubhogue and he is responding to treatment. A stent is placed in one of the arteries of his heart. He is monitored by specialist doctors in ICU.

According to Dr Avinash Shetty, superintendent of KMC, Dr Shanubhogue will be discharged in two or three days.

    Wish him all best.Must have had lots of stress .In this age should be investigate from time to time.Not rush to hospital when pain starts.
