Bantwal: Illegal cow trafficking – One arrested

Bantwal, Apr 2: Vittal police arrested a man on the accusation of illegally transporting cow in a pick-up van. The accused had escaped from the spot but the cops were successful in arresting him.

Abdul Razak alias Puthu (47), resident of Peruvayi, is the accused who is arrested.

Locals of Peruvayi village informed the police that a pick up van that is going from Kuddupadavu to Muruva was carrying one cow of black colour and a calf of light brown colour. Vittal police who registered the case and arrested the accused.

Accused is produced in the court by the police. He is remanded to judicial custody.
