Bantwal, Apr 4: An emergency 112 service vehicle has hit a motorbike from behind at Kashimata on Vitla–Kasargod road as the rider applied brakes all of a sudden.

Vinay and Shivaram on the bike escaped with minor injuries. The bike was on its way from Ukkuda to Vitla when the rider applied brakes after he saw a vehicle approaching near the barricade.

Both fell of the bike on the road and were rushed to the government hospital at Vitla. They were sent after first aid.

Police said that no case in this connection is registered in the police station.
