Bengaluru, Apr 5: “Azaan is a call for Muslims to come for prayer. Now the technology has advanced. Let them set alarm, get up and go to mosque for namaz,” said BJP national chief secretary C T Ravi.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday, Ravi further said, “There were no public address system during Mohammed Paigambar’s time. When Holy Quran was written there was no mike or loudspeakers. There are some leaders amongst us who argue on this matter also. All have to follow the ruling of Supreme Court with regards to Azaan.”
