Karkala, Apr 5: Two new books of Mandanila Publication 'Theerthhalli Post' by Muddu Theerthahalli and 'Jaag' by Pramodh Rodrigues were released on Sunday April 3 herein Miyar, Karkala.

Fr Jocy Siddakatte, Editor Naman Balok Jezu and Jio Dsilva Agrar, renowned Konkani writer, released the new books.

'Miyar Kavighosthi' was also held on the occasion. Ten renowned poets from Udupi and Mangaluru took part in the poetry reciting programme.
