All govt employees to get 2.75% increase in DA from January 1

Bengaluru, Apr 5: The State Government has sanctioned a 2.75% increase in Dearness Allowance for all government employees with effect from the first of January 1.

Announcing the hike in DA to government employees through a tweet, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday that the increase will amount an annual financial burden of Rs 1,447 crore on the State exchequer.

An official Government Order on the increase will be issued, the Chief Minister said.
