Kundapur: Man attacked with iron rod over property issue, complaint filed

Kundapur, Apr 8: A case is filed in Shankaranarayana police station in which a man has accused another man of hitting him with iron rod over property issue.

According to the details, complainant Surgijeddu Srikantha Shetty, resident of Ulluru-74 village accused Ganesh Shetty assaulted him with iron road at an auto rickshaw stand near Ganesh Hotel of Siddapur.

In the complaint, Srikantha Shetty said, “Accused Ganesh Shetty spoke to me about my property and said that he wants it free of cost. When I asked him how land can be given free of cost, he got enraged and first hit me with fist and kicked me with his legs. Later, he brought iron road from his auto rickshaw and assaulted me. He also said that he has several cases on him and he is not scared of this case also.”
