Mangalore: Eid Milad – School Holiday on February 15

Mangalore, Feb 14: The state government had declared holiday for all the primary and high schools in Dakshina Kannada on February 16 on account of Eid Milad. In accordance with the pleas put forth by various Muslim organizations, the holiday now stands changed to Tuesday February 15.

In a release, deputy director of public instruction of the district, Chame Gowda, said that the primary and high schools in the district will remain closed for Eid Milad on February 15, and that they will function normally on Wednesday.
