Kasargod: Sangh Parivar Outfits to Gherao CI Office on Wednesday

Kasargod, Feb 14: The Sangh Parivar outfits have decided to mob the office of the police circle inspector (CI) here at 10 am on Wednesday February 16, in protest against the failure of the policemen in apprehending those who have been abetting a number of unsavoury incidents in and around the town since some time.

These outfits say that the policemen have so far failed to nab the real culprits, who have been orchestrating activities like murder, murder attempts, thefts from temples, setting fire to assets, launching of assaults, etc. They point out that the police department has not been able to nab those who committed theft in Koruvail temple and attacked Lord Lalllikarjuna temple and Kotekani Lord Ramanath Temple. They also say that the criminals who tried to kill Jayant Bhandary, Devaraj from Amai Colony, Yatish from Adkattabail and some others. They said that the policemen are yet to arrest all the accused in connection with the murder of advocate Suhas, apart from those who had torched offices of the Hindu activists.

These organizations feel that the policemen have been dithering from taking into custody the real culprits behind these acts and that innocent people are being unnecessarily arrested and harassed. They alleged that the policemen have been keeping Hindu leaders in confinement in the guise of investigation, and that they have been hoisting fake cases against these leaders with the specific objective of obstructing the functioning of these organizations. The office bearers in a statement, said that the activists during the agitation on Wednesday, will be demanding to end their suppression, and for the arrest of those who have been organizing the above criminal activities.
