KMF Hikes Milk, Curd Prices by Rs Two


Bangalore, Feb 14, (PTI): Karnataka Milk Federation today announced a hike in the selling price of Nadini milk variants and curd by Rs two.

KMF said the hike was "in keeping with the interest of the milk producing farmers of the state and to meet the increased cost of milk produciton at farmers level". The revised price of milk variants will be effective from tomorrow, a release said.

The revision will be Rs two per litre for all milk variants and Rs two per kg for Nandini curds. Nandini Milk sold by Member Milk Unions throughout the state has also been revised at Rs two per litre from the present selling price.

At present MRP printed on milk sachet film will continue till the film inventory is exhausted and then it will be packed with revised MRP.

    Ismail, ask at your home if they are having cattle and sell milk. Last time when the govt increased the price, it was given completely to the farmers with subsidy.

    Now KMF may excuse the price rice of NANDINI MILK showing other states milk price!Publics are in recieving end always and show their decent in elections only.Now the question is how much will be (from increased price)passed to farmers are remained to seen.
