Akshila Bhaatha Karmika Sangha Urges Better Service at Lady Goshan and Wenlock Hospitals

Mangalore, Feb 15:
  The district unit of Akhila Bharatha Karmika Sangha held a protest rally in front of the Wenlock hospital on Tuesday February 15. The protestors condemned the alleged mismanagement at Wenlock and Lady Goshan hospital and privatization in the name of Arogya Raksha Kavacha Samithi.

Protestors alleged that doctors and other staffs show lethargic attitude while treating poor patients. Their demands included such as injustice caused by the Arogya Raksha Kavacha Samithi to APL ration card holders should be stopped, bed charge should be cancelled, strict action to be taken against the ruthless attitude shown by staffs in both Lady Goshan and Wenlock hospitals, immediate arrangements for hot water facility for bathing purpose of pregnant women and other women patients should be made available.
 
Lokesh, district president of Akhila Bharatha Karmika Sangha, Sudhath Jain, district secretary of the Sangha and others were present. The protestors warned the concerned department of holding the overnight protest in case their demands are not addressed.
