Mangalore: Government Employee Dismissed from Service

Mangalore, Feb 17: Through an order, Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner, Subodh Yadav, has dismissed a government employee from service, after finding him guilty of defrauding the exchequer.

Pradip Kumar, second grade assistant working in Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board’s office in Bykampady here, has been dismissed from service. The employee has been charged with stealing a cheque, which was drawn in favour of Krishnadas Permude from the office of the special land acquisition officer, and encashing it by creating fake records and faking the signature of the special land acquisition officer.
