Kundapur, Feb 19: Team Imperialz is all set to have its second musical concert with variety entertainments, at the Church ground of Kundapur, here on Sunday February 20 at 6 pm.
The event will echo the voices of the Konkani top singers like Dr Prashanth Raj, Wilson Olivera, Vijay Vas, Prajoth D’Sa, Sherin Walder, Vinola Mascarenhas and Jennifer Lobo.
The music makers are Avin Mascarehnas (keyboard), Jackson Noronha (keyboard), Ryner Menezes (lead guitar), Patson Pereira (bass guitar), Joel Milan (drums) Sunil Kumar (violin) and Deepak (trumpet).
The magic floor, a renowned dance troupe led by Snehith Lobo will rock the dance floor. Memory (Mellu, Moras & Richard) will entertain the crowd with their Jokes.
About the Team Imperialz
Team Imperialz is a new concept, providing a new dimension for music and dance in Mangalore. It is a band of young and energetic music maniacs, born to rock the crowds. It aims to give new rhythms and new life to the Konkani music and dance.
The team which emerged from Vamanjoor, has already captured talents from all over Mangalore. Its humble birth is traced back in 2005, at YCS organized talents Bonanza in Vamanjoor. Gaining confidence and support, the team marched forward, renewing its spirit and strength year after year. The team gained popular acclaim at the talent debut organized at Vamanjoor in the summer of 2009. The team was a part of YCS Chilipili, 2008 and national YCS council, 2010.
The team has been undertaking several other worthy projects such as trekking and rescue operations to give an adventurous dimension to life of the youngsters. It has already conducted six trekking missions in the mountains, jungles and visited many unknown exotic spots, waterfalls and wildlife resorts in the Western Ghats.
The leading talents of Team Imperialz are Avin Mascarenhas, Darel D’Souza, Joel Carlo, Kevin Vas, Delan Lobo, Bryan Mascarenhas, Stephen Pinto and Sachin Vas. The team is presently patronized by youth leaders Anil Lobo and Savil Mascarenhas.
