Udupi, Feb 22: The first annual day of Trinity Central School, Perampalli here, was celebrated with great grandeur and glory on Saturday February 19.

Fr Chetan Lobo, secretary of Capuchin Education Board, presided over the function. Municipal council president, Kiran Kumar, participated as the chief guest, while Fr Cyprian, Fr Romeo Lewis, Fr Ronald Fernandes, and Ramesh Naik were the guests of honour.

The guests were ceremoniously escorted to the dais by the school band. The school report, which was presented thereafter, highlighted various activities undertaken by the school during the academic year, and threw light on the facilities made available for the little kids such as, a well furnished computer lab, a LCD TV of 40” to the kindergarten children, LCD projector for the higher classes, water cooler and aqua guard for pure drinking water, modern sound system, table tennis board and other indoor games, an air-conditioned audio visual room, modern kitchen for cooking  food, well-furnished dining hall, beautiful Assisi kids park and animal zoo, vast play ground, spacious rooms, innovative games materials and smart classes.

Fr Chetan, in his presidential address, explained about the future vision the capuchin fathers have for Trinity Central School towards developing it up to the graduation level.  The evening cool breeze enthused the kids to present beautiful cultural programmes with great vigour and style.

The championship trophy for the best squad was bagged by Sunflower team, headed by Master Danson and supported by Miss Melita, the teacher.  Fr Richie Quadros, principal of the school, thanked everyone with gratitude for the support and love extended by them towards nurturing the school in its initial stage. The school website, www.trinityicse.com, was inaugurated by Fr Chetan Lobo on this occasion.

At the completion of the programme, a grand display of fire crackers had been organized in the main school ground.

During my visit I observed that there are lots of good prospects for this school in future. Here the Students enjoy good infrastructure, good facilities, vast area and good teaching faculty. In addition to this I observed the punctuality and discipline in the students and staff. I congratulate Fr. Richie (Principal) for his good guidance and able leadership.
