Shimoga: Eshwarappa Criticizes Governor for Remarks Against Commission Report

Daijiworld Media Network – Shimoga (SP)

Shimoga, Feb 23: “Justice B K Somashekara Commission of Inquiry is yet to be tabled in the assembly. State Governor, H R Bhardwaj’s repeated statements that he is against the findings of the report, are objectionable,” said state BJP president, K S Eshwarappa.

He said he fails to understand the purpose for which the Governor has initiated discussions on the report, even before it is placed before the assembly. “He claims to be a legal scholar. I am yet to find this quality in him,” he commented wryly.

“In the recent past, I get a feeling of pity for the Governor whenever I see him. He is worried at the fact that no one lends an ear to his advice. I cannot convince myself even to pass comments against him,” he added.

Eshwarappa claimed that he and his party were not opposed to the steps initiated by the Governor including the permission he gave for trying the Chief Minister. “Our opposition is against his political personality and this kind of behaviour. Sitting in the Raj Bhavan, he claimed himself to be a Congressman. Let him become the president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, or fight gram panchayat election,” he advised.

All 'appas' are afraid of Hon. Governor. The Governor is an Iron man, stands against injustice and corruption of BJP. May God bless you sir.
