Beltangady: St John Baptist Parishioners Celebrate ‘Parish Day’

Beltangady, Feb 25:
St John Baptist parish, Kokkada, near here, organized a parish day under the leadership of their parish priest recently.
 
St Joseph’s Seminary lecturer Fr Joachim Fernandes concelebrated the Holy Mass along with Kadaba parish priest Fr Alex Lewis, and Kokkada parish priest Fr Ronald Lobo.



Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.  The parishioners of 10 wards staged various entertainment programmes.
 
Vincent Menezes welcomed the gathering.  John Monteiro proposed the vote of thanks. Pricilla D’Souza compered the programme.

    Very happy to see our parish live on line.May many more similar events take place at St Johns.Congrats to our dear PP Rev Rony Lobo and all who made it a great success,with special regards to Mr Vincy n his team. Yakshagana was most entertainig- Mr Joseph n his team need special regards.The end was great with delicious dinner.Thanks to one n all.15265557......
