Mangalore, Feb 26: All India Congress Committee president, Sonia Gandhi, has appointed former union minister, B Janardan Poojary, as the president of a committee appointed to choose Congress candidates for the coming assembly election in West Bengal.

The committee has been vested with the task of selecting candidates from the party from all the constituencies in that state. The committee has also has AICC general secretary, Ashok Rao, West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee president, Munish Bunia, and Congress leader, Abu, as its members.

In this connection, Poojary is scheduled to meet Sonia Gandhi on Saturday February 26.

    Congress need to utilise service of senior Congress politician like MR Janardhan Poojari which will help the party for certain extent.In this regard it is right step taken by Cong H.Command.These days Mr Poojari not seen in mainstream congress activities as he should be .Mr JP very best of luck.
