Mangalore, Feb 28: The closing ceremony of the three-day retreat was held AT Holy Cross parish, Cordel, on Sunday February 27.
Mangalore diocesan vicar general Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the spiritual rejuvenation that took place among the faithful during the retreat would help them effectively face the struggles and sufferings of everyday living.
Cordel parish priest Fr Valerian Pinto felicitated key preacher Fr Augustine Valloran and his team members from Divine Retreat Centre, Potta.
Cordel assistant parish priest Fr Arun Lobo distributed blessed candles to the sponsors of the retreat.
The retreat concluded with the Eucharistic celebration. Over 2,500 people were present on the occasion.
