Mangalore, Mar 3: The city-based Konkani Bhas Ani Sanskriti Pratishtan will be felicitating Padma Bhushan Dr Ramdas M Pai, chancellor of Manipal University, as well as MLA and state assembly deputy speaker, N Yogish Bhat, in the city on Saturday March 5.
The programme will be organized at Town Hall here at 5 pm. Ryan International group of educational institutions managing director, Grace Pinto, Infosys Technologies Ltd director, T V Mohandas Pai, and Karnataka Konkani Bhasha Mandal president, Fr Eric Crasta, will participate as guests in this function. President of the foundation, P Dayanand Pai, who is the chairman of Century Builders, Bangalore, will preside.
After the felicitation, a programme of light music by well-known Konkani singers will be presented, said president of Vishwa Konkani Kendra, Basti Vaman Shenoy, in a release.
