Mangalore: Corporation Bank Bags Three IBA Technology Awards

Mangalore, Mar 3: The city-based Corporation Bank has succeeded in bagging three prestigious banking technology awards instituted by the Indian Banks Association (IBA). They are Best Online Banking Award, Financial Inclusion Award and E-Learning Award.

Corporation Bank is the only one from among the public sector banks to have won three awards this year. While the bank was considered best in the use of technology in Financial Inclusion and Training and E-learning departments, it bagged runner-up award in the Best Online Banking department.

These awards were conferred by former President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, in a colourful programme organized in Mumbai on Wednesday March 2. Bank’s chairman and managing director, Ramnath Pradeep, and executive director, Ashwani Kumar, accepted the awards. General manager of the bank, B R Bhat, was present.
