Kundapur: Student Drowns in Sea

Kundapur, Mar 3: A boy, who was swimming in the sea at M Kody near here, drowned because of strong waves, on Wednesday March 2. He has been identified as Mustafa (14), son of Abdul Khader, residing at T T Nagar, Voderhobli in the town.

He was an eighth standard student. As the school was closed on account of Mahashivaratri on Wednesday, he had gone to the seashore to swim, along with his friends.

Mustafa, lost his fight against strong waves because of fatigue, and drowned as he was unable to reach the shore, the policemen said. A case about this incident was registered in the local police station on Wednesday.
