Udupi: Brahma Baidarkala Panchadhoomavati Garodi Nemotsav Begins Mar 11

Udupi, Mar 4:
The annual Nemotsav will be held at Brahma Baidarkala Panchadhoomavati Garodi at Tonse, Kallianpur, from Friday March 11 to Sunday March 13.
 
The idol of Panchadhoomavati will be ceremoniously carried in a procession from the welcome arch of Garodi located at Nejaru on Wednesday March 9.  It will be worshiped by Uday Kumar and Nayana Uday Kumar, residents of Nidamballi – Tonse, followed by the installation of the idol led by Vedamurti Srinivas Tantri.
 
Various religious celebrations including distribution of ‘prasadam’ will be held on the afternoon of Thursday March 10.
 
The district-in-charge minister Dr V S Acharya will inaugurate the welcome arch here on the morning of Friday March 11.
 
Billava Mahamandala – Mulky president Jaya C Suvarna will preside over the programme.
 
Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder president Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty will inaugurate the programme.
 
MLA Raghupati Bhat, Brahma Baidarkala Panchadhoomavati Garodi -Tonse’s Mumbai sub-committee president Nithyanand D Kotian will be the chief guests of the occasion.
 
C K Poojary and Narasimha Thota (Mumbai) Harish Jattan Nidamballi, Bhaskar K Jattan Kallianpur will be felicitated during the programme.
 
The free food offerings sponsored by Bhaskar Jatthan and Akshatha Bhaskar will be held at the occasion.
 
The Nemotsav and Kolotsav to Brahma Baidarkala will be held from Friday March 11 evening and conclude on Sunday March 13 night.
