Mangaluru: MCC members raise various issues in progress meeting

Mangaluru, Jun 7: Members of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) complained that many potholes have appeared on roads as Mescom, GAIL, Kudcemp and various mobile network companies are digging the road for their work.

In the progress meeting of ward numbers 31 to 45 which was held on Monday, June 6, corporators of respective wards raised the issues. Mayor Premananda Shetty, who discussed the matter with officers warned GAIL and Kudcemp officers. He also instructed them not to take up any new work without completing the present projects.

Corporators drew the attention about waste management and Blackspot issues in certain wards. the mayor informed that CCTV should be installed for black spots. When the members raised the issue of inconvenience in drinking water supply, concerned officers said that they will take quick action.
