Mangaluru, Jun 8: The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) officials have slapped Rs 20,000 fine on the owner of fast food shop for dumping the waste on the sides of a road in Kankanady.

The litter on the roadside of Kankanady had turned it into a black spot. Later, Mangaluru City Corporation had beautified the spot.

Though garbage dumping in that spot had come under control, a few days ago, few people had resumed littering on the roadside.
