Bantwal, Jul 4: “If the backward classes unite recollecting the Congress achievement of awarding land to the landless by land reforms, Congress will come to power by clear majority,” said KPCC vice president Madhu Bangarappa. He was speaking after inaugurating a conference of Congress activists held by Bantwal Panemangalore block Congress at B C Road Brahmanarayanaguru auditorium.

“BJP is the party of business people and a terror causing party. Therefore, my father had left it within nine months of joining. BJP notice to those who were farming on forest land  they are thieves, should be remembered,” he said.

 Backward class unit president Vishwas Das over the programme.

“Former minister B Ramanath Rai gave an introductory address saying that BJP is cheating people in the name of God. It creates enmity between people by sentimental matters. We have the debt of Congress that has provided us facilities,” he said.
