Kasargod, Mar 23: A miscreant stabbed and killed a man near Chengannur in Kanhangad in the district on Tuesday March 22. The assailant was angry at the fact that the man in question had filed a police complaint against the former for harassing the latter’s daughter.
Ashok Kumar, a resident of Chengannur Karumbakkad, lost his life in this way. A person named Rahul was arrested by the policemen relating to this crime.
Reportedly, Rahul intercepted the bike of Ashok Kumar on Tuesday morning, when he was going with his daughter to drop her at her college. While Kumar lost his life, his daughter, an MBA student, was injured.
Allegedly, Rahul had harassed Ashok Kumar’s daughter about a month back, and a complaint was filed against him with the police. The policemen suspect that the murder was committed in retaliation to the said complaint.
