Mangalore, Mar 28: Corporation Bank was honoured with the award meant for ‘Best PSU Bank of the Year’ in the Bloomberg UTV Financial Leadership Awards 2011.
This award was handed over to the bank’s chairman and managing director, Ramnath Pradeep, by union finance minister, Pranab Mukherjee, at a function held in Mumbai on Saturday March 26. These awards are being given annually by Bloomberg UTV in association with MCX, after considering the extra ordinary achievements of financial leaders and visionaries. Banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, broking houses etc., are considered for these awards.
In the recent part, Corporation bank had won IBA, IDRBT, and Skoch awards in different fields like adoption of technology, financial inclusion, and customer relationship.
