Shiradi landslide: Separate alternative ways for M'luru-B'luru road travel, only LMVs allowed

Hassan, Jul 17: Deputy Commissioner R Girish on Sunday, July 17 issued a revised order on vehicular movements on the Shiradi Ghat stretch of NH-75 due to landslides at Donigal near Sakleshpur.

In the order DC stated that the commuters travelling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru can use the alternative road from Sakleshpur, Anemahal, Kyanahalli, Chinnalli, Kadagaravalli, and Maranahalli to reach Mangaluru.

Commuters travelling from Mangaluru to Bengaluru can travel from Maranahalli, Kadumane, Harle, Koodige, Anemahal, and Sakleshpur to reach Bengaluru.

Only LMVs-cars, jeeps, tempos, minivans, two-wheelers and ambulances can travel on the above-said road.  

In the above route, there will be only single-lane traffic movements. \The speed of vehicles travelling should be 30 km/hour.
