Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha conducts free yoga camp in Bondel

Mangaluru, Jul 18: The Catholic Sabha, Bondel Unit had organized a free yoga camp on Monday, July 18 at 6 PM. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, parish priest St Lawrence Church inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp.

Addressing the gathering, he said that one gets joy, intelligence, energy and spiritual feelings from yoga. “It is a link between the soul and the almighty. It is a guide to remain healthy,” he added.

Catholic Sabha President Stephen D'Silva, vice president Henbert Pinto and AICU president Lancy D'Cunha were present.

Yoga instructor Kushalappa Gowda, founder of Avishkar Yoga here said that with ‘Mantra Mudre,’ yoga exercise for control of sicknesses, the nerves of the brain get revived and blood supply becomes smooth, increasing self-control. “We should practice it in the camp and make it a habit. The Yoga camp will be held from Monday July 18th to Monday 25th July 2022, between 6 PM to 7 PM.

Nearly 30 people participated in the camp. Lancy D'Cunha, AICU president compered the programme.
