Mangaluru: MRPL cautions public about fake employment scam

Mangaluru, Jul 20: MRPL wishes to bring ?o the notice of the general public that some fraudsters are trying to cheat the gullible job seekers through fraudulent use of its name and fake documents.

MRPL came to know that on social media, fake job offer letters of MRPL are being circulated, incidents having been reported from Bengaluru and Mangaluru.

Clarifying that the fake employment letters and fake letter heads are being used by conmen to defraud general public in the name of employment in MRPL, it has requested the members of the public to note that being a central government CPSE, MRPL does all its recruitments strictly in line with laid down norms and not prey to job scams.

If someone offers jobs in MRPL against payment of money or bribe, people have been asked to immediately bring it to the notice of concerned law enforcing authorities. Payment of money or bribe is never entertained in MRPL, it has clarified.
