Bantwal, Mar 30: Relating to video recording of sexual activities involving a man and his lover in a gymnasium here, the policemen arrested two people on Tuesday March 29. The incident occurred in a gymnasium located in the heart of B C Road within the jurisdiction of the town police station here.

It is gathered that a body builder had brought his lover to the gymnasium during the day in December last and had sex with her. In what looks like a pre-planned exercise, three persons including a partner of the gymnasium had recorded their activities in a mobile phone. The clippings started making rounds via MMS. In course of time, even the policemen came to know about the MMS, and after prolonged investigation, succeeded in arresting two of the three persons involved with the video recording.

The arrested men have been identified as Lancy from Kolake here, and Sunil from Mangilapadavu. The other person, Navin from Bolangady, is reported to be in a foreign country at present. A team of policemen led by assistant sub-inspector, Kepugouda, also subjected the youth and his partner, whose activities were caught on camera, to questioning. There are suspicions that the recording was done as a revengeful act relating to a land dispute.
