Mangaluru, Jul 23: "Allegations made by Lokesh Shetty Muchooru against Kambala jockey Srinivas Gowda are not true. Srinivas, who is compared to Usain Bolt, has won several medals in Kambala. The judgment is given by the judges using modern and technologically advanced methods," said the Rashmith Shetty, vice president of the district Kambala committee.
He was speaking at a press meet in the press club here on Saturday, July 23.
"Srinivas has won several medals in many Kambala events. The allegations hurled by Lokesh against Srinivas are not true. Lokesh, without the permission of Srinivas, had used his photograph for the promotion of his movie. Though Srinivas was not willing, he had used his photograph. Srinivas will be filing a defamation lawsuit against Lokesh Shetty," he said.
He also said allegations were hurled against Srinivas with the only intention to defame him.
Harshavardhan Padival, Shakthi Prasad Shetty and Sachin Adapa were present.
