Bengaluru, Jul 24: Former minister K S Eshwarappa said that there is no one who does not do family politics. “We have seen it happening right from the time of Nehru till date,” he said.
Speaking to reporters Eshwarappa said, “I do not know which Gandhi is going to arrive in Indian political scene after Nehru, Indira, Rajiv, Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka. Deve Gowda’s family is also in politics. There is no point in accusing about politics as family affair.
“D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah are enough to destroy Congress in Karnataka. In addition, a bud called Nalapad has also joined hands.
“Siddaramaiah knows for sure that he will get defeated from whichever constituency he contests. In Varuna, voters made him victorious. Then he went to Badami. In coming days, he will contest from constituencies where Muslim voters are more,” he said.
