Mangaluru: Route of two flights diverted due to inclement weather

Mangaluru, Jul 26: Two Air India Express flights that were to be landed at the international airport in the city on Monday July 25, were diverted to other airports due to inclement weather.

IX 0816 flight carrying 145 passengers on board arrived to the airport at 4.40 am from Abu Dhabi. However, it was not allowed to land and diverted to Bengaluru. Similarly, IX 0384 flight that arrived at 4.45 am with 163 passengers on board was also asked to proceed to Bengaluru.

IX 0384 returned from Bengaluru to Mangaluru international airport at 4.35 pm and went to Dubai at 6.30 pm as IX 0383. IX 0816 arrived from Bengaluru at 5 pm and went to Muscat as IX 0817 according to the information provided by airport authorities.
