Bantwal, Jul 26: The Vittal station police have traced near Chikkamagaluru, a girl who was reported missing from here.
Khairunnisa (21), daughter of Basabettu, Kotnadu village resident Razak was missing from her residence since July 22. Her brother Abdul Sharif had lodged a missing person’s complaint in this connection with the Vittal police station suspecting that she had gone with a Puttur resident Siddik.
The police who began a search for her, brought her back from Chikkamagaluru.
“She has been brought to the police station and sent with her parents,” said the police.
