Mangaluru: Khader, Sunil Kumar condemn BJP leader’s murder

Mangaluru, Jul 27: Congress leader MLA U T Khader and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Sunil Kumar condemned the murder of BJP leader Praveen and demand the arrest of the culprits at the earliest.

Khader said, “The recent development have proved that anti-social elements and murderers have no fear about law and government. The commoners have no peace. In last four days, Bellare has witnessed two murders in the form of Masood and Praveen.”

Khader demanded swift action and the arrest of the culprits. He also demanded the home minister and chief minister for compensation to families of Masood and Praveen.

Sunil Kumar said, “The government has seriously considered the murder of BJP youth leader Praveen and had a discussion with the home minister as well.”

Condemning the murder, he said, “The government will not be silent. The superintendent of police will submit a detailed report of the incident to the home minister and has been directed to form a team to nab the culprit. The government will curtail the anti-social elements who try to spoil peace in the society.”
