Mangalore: Konkani in Schools – Spirit of Teaching and Analysis

Mangalore, April 5: A programme on Konkani spirit of teaching and analysis will be held at Kalangann in Shaktinagar here at 12 pm on Wednesday April 6. This programme will be held under the joint aegis of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, Konkani Prachar Sanchalan and Mandd Sobhann.

On this occasion, 'best teacher of the year' award will be presented. Dakshina Kannada district deputy director of public instruction, Chame Gowda, will be the chief guest. Vicar general, Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, Roy Castelino, and Louis J Pinto will participate as honorary guests. Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president, Narayan Kharvi, will preside over the programme, a release said.
