Byndoor: Beef transportation in car, one arrested

Byndoor, Aug 22: Byndoor police unearthed beef that was being transported from Navunda to Bhatkal in a Nano car on the night of Saturday, August 20.

Beef weighing 150 kg worth Rs 22,000 was confiscated by the cops. Mohammed Ghaus Gawayi (37), resident of Mugdum of Bhatkal was taken into custody by the police in this connection.

A case is registered in Byndoor police station.
