Kasargod, Aug 24: K R Jayananda has been elected the president of Kerala Tulu Academy. The department of culture, in its notification, formed a management committee with 17 members including president, secretary and three official members.
Kasargod cooperative registrar A Ravindranath has been elected as secretary. Deputy Commissioner Bhandary Swagath, MP Raj Mohan Unnithan and MLA A K M Ashraf are the official members.
Advocate G Chandramohan, teacher Krishna Veni, Joseph Crasta, C K Ajith Chippar, Uday Sarang, Ganesh, Bhujanga Shetty, A Chandrashekar, Varkady Gram Panchayat president Bharati Sulyame, Paivalike Panchayat president Jayanti, Abdulla Paivalike, Gangadhar Durgipalla and others are the members of the committee.
