Kasargod, Aug 25: Comprehensive investigation has begun under the leadership of K N Radhakrishnan, DySP of north zone of railway department in the wake of stones and huge concrete blocks being placed on the railways tracks at various parts of the district.
The team led by the DySP visited Trikkanad railway tracks near Bekal and the surrounding areas and held investigation. Culprits had placed a huge concrete block with iron rods in it on the railway track behind Trikkanad holy place with the intention of making the train go off track.
The investigation team is suspecting the hand of extremist organization in these acts.
