Oct 15: Dakshina Kannada reports 301 new corona cases, two deaths; Udupi records 179 infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 15: Dakshina Kannada reported 301 fresh coronavirus cases and two deaths on Thursday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 27,739 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 3707 are currently active. A total of 22,13,494 samples have been tested, out of which 1,85,755 are negative.

As many as patients 23,413 have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 490 on Thursday. A total of 619 deaths have occured so far, including two on Thursday.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, Udupi reported 179 fresh coronavirus cases and zero deaths on Thursday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 20,275 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 1,953 are currently active. A total of 1,51,148 samples have been tested, out of which 1,30,873 are negative.

As many as 18,154 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 253 on Thursday. A total of 170 deaths have occured so far.
