Qatar, Sep 22: International Peace Day is celebrated every year on September 21, across the world in more than 110 countries to create community effervescent, with potential to celebrate unity in diversity, and championing collaboration across borders, by the Heartfulness Team, in coordination with UN Chapter of peace. All the Heartfulness practitioners across the world, pray for Peace every day at 9 PM.
In line with this tradition, Heartfulness Team of Volunteers at Qatar also celebrated the Peace Day at ICC Ashoka Hall on September 21 with the participation of audience, volunteers of ICC and its affiliated groups on Wednesday, with the welcome note and brief information by Sundar to activate a change among everyone.
The audience present got n insight of peace, how to calm mind, etc. with Heartfulness meditation, through the introduction briefing by Satish Choudhury, and instant benefits from 20 minutes practical sessions conducted by the trainers of Heartfulness, Padmini Sundar, and Sundar.
The community leaders/dignitaries who participated and spoke in the celebration are ICC president P N Baburajan (Individual Peace leads to World Peace), ICBF acting president, Vinod (Benefits of Meditation), Karnataka Sangh president Mahesh Gowda (Need and Benefit to Community), Subramanya Hebbagelu, vice president, ICC (Real benefits experienced & witnessed), Mustafa (Need of Peace) and other volunteers’ sharing their instant experiences.
The meeting concluded with a brief from Hemachandran to audience and community leaders on availability and readiness of Qatar Heartfulness trainers to serve the community at any time and a vote of thanks from Niteesh, for sparing their valuable time to honor the occasion.
