Mangaluru: 'Science Exhibition' organized at St Agnes high school

Mangaluru, Oct 18: To evince the aptitude of scientific expertise among the students, a 'Science Exhibition' was organized at St Agnes High School, Bendore, on Tuesday October 18.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Sr Noreen D'Souza A C, principal of St Agnes Pre-University College. In her commencement speech she expressed her delight at the innovative ideas the students had displayed. She shared that science exhibition was an excellent tool that encourages students to develop the scientific curiosity to learn more.

Headmistress Sr Gloria AC lauded the students for the efforts in practically utilizing the scientific knowledge received in the classroom.

The science teachers of the high school, Prathima K B, Preethi Vas and Preema Frank planned the event. There were around 47 meticulously prepared science exhibitions.

The students of the high school, St Agnes Primary School and St Agnes CBSE School were invited for the event. The participants explained their models with great enthusiasm. The exhibits were judged by Prathima K B, Preema Frank and Likitha, lecturer of St Agnes PU College. The three best models from Kannada medium and English medium respectively were awarded prizes.
